Chief Executive & Deputy Chief Executive
Provide leadership for the organisation and help shape the future of philanthropy in Wales. Working alongside the Senior Management Team, they set strategic direction, support and develop our people, build influential relationships across the voluntary and philanthropic sectors, and work with the UK Community Foundations network to maximise our impact and reach.
Philanthropy
Work closely with donors, businesses, professional advisers and supporters to turn philanthropy into lasting change. By taking the time to understand each donor's goals and values, the team provides expert guidance, develops meaningful giving opportunities and nurtures long-term relationships. They also create opportunities for donors and business to connect, learn and share through our networks and events.
Grants
Ensure funding reaches the communities where it can make the greatest difference. The team manages our grant programmes, supports our volunteer panels, assesses funding applications, and works closely with grant holders to monitor projects and demonstrate the impact funding has on Welsh communities.
Communications & Marketing
Shape how Community Foundation Wales is seen, heard and understood. Through strategic communications and marketing, the team brings our work, values and impact to life, helping build trust, strengthen our reputation, and inspire more people to support communities across Wales.
Finance
Provide the financial expertise that underpins our work and helps ensure resources are managed effectively and responsibly. The team supports strong governance, accountability and long-term sustainability, enabling us to maximise the value and impact of the funds entrusted to us.
